We are offering a special opportunity for hunters to rent the Sweet Retreat cottage during the October 1 – December 19, 2010 hunting seasons. Renters will have exclusive rights on the designated acreage for the deer and turkey seasons. You can stay in the cottage Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights and have exclusive hunting privileges for 50 acres of prime Southern Indiana ground.
The 2010 season dates are as follows:
Deer – Early Archery – October 1 – November 28
Firearms (shotgun) – November 13 – 28
Muzzleloader – December 4 – 19
Turkey – Firearms – October 20 – 24
The weekend prices are as follows (includes 3 night minimum stay at the cottage, all taxes included):
October 1-3 - $300
October 8–10 - $300
October 15-17 - $300
October 22-24 - $300
October 29-31 - $300
November 5-7 - $300
November 12-14 - $700
November 19-21 - $500
November 26-28 - $500
December 3-5 - $400
December 10-12 - $400
December 17-19 - $400
Private guides are available for an extra fee. The hunting party is required to furnish all required licenses and tags and fully comply with Indiana laws. No hunting is allowed outside the designated area. We will not allow any hunting on Monday through Thursday before your arrival and you are welcome to scout the area during this four day period as long as you have paid the necessary deposit. We will give future preference to repeat customers and will provide information regarding check in stations and processing plants.
The normal rules apply for Sweet Retreat. We do not furnish any food for guests and you must supply your own bedding (except for the queen bed)
and bath towels.
Additional nights at the cottage are $69, plus tax. We can also adjust the hunting days to suit your individual needs if you prefer times
other than weekends.
